เอเสเคี​ยล​ 6:12

​ผู้​​ที่อยู่​ห่างไกลออกไปจะตายด้วยโรคระบาด ​ผู้​​ที่อยู่​​ใกล้​​ก็​จะล้มตายด้วยดาบ และผู้​ที่​​เหลืออยู่​และถู​กล​้อมไว้จะตายด้วยการกันดารอาหาร เราจะให้ความเกรี้ยวกราดของเรามีเหนือเขาจนกว่าจะมอดลง ​เช่นนี้​​แหละ​

He that is far off shall die of the pestilence; and he that is near shall fall by the sword; and he that remaineth and is besieged shall die by the famine: thus will I accomplish my fury upon them.
