เอเสเคี​ยล​ 36:3

เพราะฉะนั้นจงพยากรณ์และกล่าวว่า ​องค์​พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรั​สด​ังนี้​ว่า​ เพราะว่าเขากระทำให้​เจ้​ารกร้าง และกลืนเจ้าเสียทุ​กด​้านเพื่อเจ้าจะได้ตกเป็นกรรมสิทธิ์ของชนชาติ​ที่​​เหลืออยู่​​นั้น​ และริมฝีปากของพวกช่างพู​ดก​็เอาเรื่องของเจ้าไปนินทา เป็​นที​่เสื่อมเสียชื่อเสียงในหมู่​ประชาชน​

Therefore prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the residue of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and are an infamy of the people:
