હઝકિયેલ 36:17

“હે મનુષ્યપુત્ર, જ્યારે ઇઝરાયલી લોકો પોતાના દેશમાં રહેતા હતા, ત્યારે તેઓએ પોતાના આચરણથી તથા પોતાના કાર્યોથી તેને અશુદ્ધ કર્યો છે. મારી આગળ તેઓનાં આચરણ માસિક ધર્મવાળી સ્ત્રીના જેવાં અશુદ્ધ હતાં.

Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their own way and by their doings: their way was before me as the uncleanness of a removed woman.
