യെഹെസ്കേൽ 34:10

യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ ഇടയന്മാർക്കു വിരോധമായിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ എന്റെ ആടുകളെ അവരുടെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു ചോദിച്ചു, ആടുകളെ മേയിക്കുന്ന വേലയിൽനിന്നു അവരെ നീക്കിക്കളയും; ഇടയന്മാർ ഇനി തങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ മേയിക്കയില്ല; എന്റെ ആടുകൾ അവർക്കു ഇരയാകാതെയിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ അവയെ അവരുടെ വായിൽനിന്നു വിടുവിക്കും.

Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them.
