EZECHIELE 34:8

Come io vivo, dice il Signore Iddio, io farò questo; perciocchè le mie pecore sono state in preda, e per pasto ad ogni fiera della campagna, per mancamento di pastore; e i miei pastori non han ricercate le mie pecore, anzi i pastori si son pasciuti loro stessi, e non han pasciute le mie pecore;

As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely because my flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock;
