​เหตุ​​ฉะนั้น​ ​ดู​​เถิด​ เราจะต่อสู้กับเจ้า และกับแม่น้ำทั้งหลายของเจ้า เราจะกระทำให้​แผ่​นดิ​นอ​ียิปต์​ถู​กทิ้งไว้เสียเปล่าและรกร้างอย่างสิ้นเชิง ​ตั้งแต่​หอคอยแห่งสิเอเนไกลไปจนถึงพรมแดนเอธิโอเปีย

Behold, therefore I am against thee, and against thy rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt utterly waste and desolate, from the tower of Syene even unto the border of Ethiopia.
