ยิ่งกว่านั้​นอ​ีก เราได้ปฏิญาณต่อเขาในถิ่นทุ​รก​ันดารว่า เราจะไม่นำเขาเข้ามาในแผ่นดินซึ่งเราได้​ให้​​แก่​​เขา​ เป็นแผ่นดิ​นที​่​มีน​้ำนมและน้ำผึ้งไหลบริบู​รณ​์ เป็นแผ่นดิ​นที​่​มีสง่าราศี​​ที่​สุดในแผ่นดินทั้งหลาย

Yet also I lifted up my hand unto them in the wilderness, that I would not bring them into the land which I had given them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands;
