യെഹെസ്കേൽ 20:47

യഹോവയുടെ വചനം കേൾക്ക; യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ നിനക്കു തീ വെക്കും; അതു നിന്നിൽ പച്ചയായുള്ള സകലവൃക്ഷത്തെയും ഉണങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്ന സകലവൃക്ഷത്തെയും ദഹിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും; ജ്വലിക്കുന്ന ജ്വാല കെട്ടുപോകയില്ല; തെക്കുമുതൽ വടക്കുവരെയുള്ള മുഖങ്ങളൊക്കെയും അതിനാൽ കരിഞ്ഞുപോകും.

And say to the forest of the south, Hear the word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree: the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be burned therein.
