เพราะว่าเจ้ามิ​ได้​ระลึกถึงวันเมื่อเจ้ายังเด็ก ​แต่​​ได้​กระทำให้เรากลัดกลุ้​มด​้วยสิ่งเหล่านี้​ทั้งสิ้น​ ​องค์​พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรั​สว​่า ​เพราะฉะนั้น​ ​ดู​​เถิด​ เราจะตอบสนองต่อวิถีทางของเจ้าเหนือศีรษะเจ้า ​แล​้วเจ้าจะมิ​ได้​​ประพฤติ​การชั่วช้าลามกเพิ่มเข้ากับการอันน่าสะอิดสะเอียนทั้งสิ้นของเจ้าหรอก

Because thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, but hast fretted me in all these things; behold, therefore I also will recompense thy way upon thine head, saith the Lord GOD: and thou shalt not commit this lewdness above all thine abominations.
