எசேக்கியேல் 16:8

நான் உன் அருகே கடந்துபோனபோது, உன்னைப் பார்த்தேன்; இதோ, உன்னுடைய காலம் பருவகாலமாக இருந்தது; அப்பொழுது என்னுடைய ஆடையை உன்மேல் விரித்து, உன்னுடைய நிர்வாணத்தை மூடி, உனக்கு வாக்குக்கொடுத்து, உன்னுடன் உடன்படிக்கைசெய்தேன் என்று யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்; இந்த விதமாக நீ என்னுடையவளாக ஆனாய்.

Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord GOD, and thou becamest mine.
