మాంత్రికులు కూడా చిన్నదోమలు పుట్టించాలని తమ మంత్రాలు ప్రయోగించారు గానీ వారి వల్ల కాలేదు. మనుష్యుల మీదా, జంతువుల మీదా చిన్న దోమలు నిలిచి ఉన్నప్పుడు

And the magicians did so with their enchantments to bring forth lice, but they could not: so there were lice upon man, and upon beast.
