నిర్గమకాండం 8:17

అహరోను తన కర్రను చాపి ఆ దేశపు దుమ్మును కొట్టినప్పుడు మనుష్యుల మీద, జంతువుల మీద చిన్న దోమలు వచ్చాయి. ఐగుప్తు దేశంలోని దుమ్ము అంతా రేగి దోమల్లాగా వ్యాపించాయి.

And they did so; for Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod, and smote the dust of the earth, and it became lice in man, and in beast; all the dust of the land became lice throughout all the land of Egypt.
