மந்திரவாதிகளும் தங்களுடைய மந்திரவித்தையினால் பேன்களை உருவாக்கும்படி முயற்சிசெய்தார்கள்; அப்படிச்செய்தும், அவர்களால் முடியாமற்போனது; பேன்கள் மனிதர்கள்மேலும் மிருகஜீவன்கள்மேலும் இருந்தது.

And the magicians did so with their enchantments to bring forth lice, but they could not: so there were lice upon man, and upon beast.
