അവർ അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്തു; അഹരോൻ വടിയോടുകൂടെ കൈ നീട്ടി നിലത്തിലെ പൊടിയെ അടിച്ചു; അതു മനുഷ്യരുടെ മേലും മൃഗങ്ങളിൻമേലും പേൻ ആയ്തീർന്നു; മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തെങ്ങും നിലത്തിലെ പൊടിയെല്ലാം പേൻ ആയ്തീർന്നു.

And they did so; for Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod, and smote the dust of the earth, and it became lice in man, and in beast; all the dust of the land became lice throughout all the land of Egypt.
