Yahve Moşe'ye şöyle dedi, “Aron'a de ki, 'Değneğini al ve elini Mısır'ın sularına, ırmaklarına, derelerine, havuzlarına ve bütün su birikintileri üzerine uzat da kan olsun. Bütün Mısır diyarında, hem ağaç kaplarda hem de taş kaplarda kan olacak.'”
