അങ്ങനെ മോശെയും അഹരോനും ഫറവോന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു യഹോവ തങ്ങളോടു കല്പിച്ചതു പോലെ ചെയ്തു. അഹരോൻ തന്റെ വടി ഫറവോന്റെയും അവന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരുടെയും മുമ്പാകെ നിലത്തിട്ടു; അതു സർപ്പമായ്തീർന്നു.

¶ And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent.
