โมเสสจึงนำความนั้นไปเล่าให้​ชนชาติ​อิสราเอลฟัง ​แต่​เขามิ​ได้​เชื่อฟังโมเสสเพราะระอาใจ และถูกเกณฑ์​ให้​ทำการหนักอย่างสาหัส

¶ And Moses spake so unto the children of Israel: but they hearkened not unto Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage.
