નિર્ગમન 6:9

મૂસાએ ઈશ્વરની એ વાત ઇઝરાયલીઓને કહી. પણ તે વખતે તેઓ આકરી ગુલામીથી હતાશ થઈ ગયેલા તેથી તેઓએ ઈશ્વરની વાત કાને ધરી નહિ.

¶ And Moses spake so unto the children of Israel: but they hearkened not unto Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage.
