నిర్గమకాండం 5:16

తమ దాసులకు గడ్డి ఇవ్వకుండా రోజువారీ లెక్క ప్రకారం ఇటుకలు తయారు చేయమని ఆజ్ఞాపిస్తున్నారు. అధికారులు తమ దాసులైన మా నాయకులను హింసిస్తున్నారు. అసలు తప్పు తమ ఆస్థాన అధికారులదే” అని మొర పెట్టుకున్నారు.

There is no straw given unto thy servants, and they say to us, Make brick: and, behold, thy servants are beaten; but the fault is in thine own people.
