నిర్గమకాండం 3:7

యెహోవా ఇలా చెప్పాడు. “ఐగుప్తులో ఉంటున్న నా ప్రజలు పడుతున్న బాధలు నాకు తెలుసు. కఠినమైన పనులు చేయిస్తూ వారిని బాధపెడుతున్న వారిని బట్టి వారు పెడుతున్న మొర నేను విన్నాను. వారి దుఃఖం నాకు తెలుసు.

¶ And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;
