Kemudian, sesuai perintah TUHAN kepada Musa, mereka memasang kedua batu permata yang sudah dibingkai itu pada kedua penutup bahu efod. Hal itu dilakukan sebagai tanda pengingat di hadapan TUHAN bahwa Harun mewakili seluruh umat Israel.
