โมเสสจึงสั่งให้ประกาศไปทั่วค่ายว่า “อย่าให้ชายหญิงนำของสำหรับทำสถานบริ​สุทธิ​์มาถวายอีกเลย” ​เหตุ​ฉะนั้นพลไพร่จึงยับยั้งไม่นำของมาถวายอีก
