யாத்திராகமம் 34:9

“ஆண்டவரே, உம்முடைய கண்களில் எனக்குக் கிருபை கிடைத்ததானால், எங்கள் நடுவில் ஆண்டவர் எழுந்தருளவேண்டும்; இந்த மக்கள் பிடிவாதமுள்ளவர்கள் ; நீரோ, எங்களுடைய அக்கிரமத்தையும் எங்களுடைய பாவத்தையும் மன்னித்து, எங்களை உமக்குச் சுதந்திரமாக ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும்” என்றான்.

And he said, If now I have found grace in thy sight, O Lord, let my Lord, I pray thee, go among us; for it is a stiffnecked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for thine inheritance.
