ESODO 34:28

E Mosè stette quivi col Signore quaranta giorni e quaranta notti; senza mangiar pane, nè bere acqua; e il Signore scrisse sopra quelle tavole le parole del patto, le dieci parole.

And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.
