EXODE 34:15

Garde-toi de faire alliance avec les habitants du pays, de peur que, se prostituant à leurs dieux et leur offrant des sacrifices, ils ne t’invitent, et que tu ne manges de leurs victimes;

Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice;
