నిర్గమకాండం 33:12

మోషే యెహోవాతో ఇలా చెప్పాడు. “ఈ ప్రజలను వెంటబెట్టుకుని వెళ్ళమని నాకు చెబుతున్నావు గానీ నాతో ఎవరిని పంపుతున్నావో అది నాకు చెప్పలేదు. అదీగాక ‘నిన్ను నీ పేరుతో ఎరుగుదును. నిన్ను నేను కరుణించాను’ అని నాతో చెప్పావు కదా.

¶ And Moses said unto the LORD, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight.
