De Here nu zeide tot Mozes: Zeg tot de Israëlieten: gij zijt een hardnekkig volk. Indien Ik ook maar één ogenblik in uw midden zou optrekken, zou Ik u vernietigen. Nu dan, doe uw sieraad af, dan zal Ik zien, wat Ik u doen zal.
