निर्गमन 33:3

तुम लोग उस देश को जाओ जिसमें दूध और मधु की धारा बहती है; परन्तु तुम हठीले हो, इस कारण मैं तुम्हारे बीच में होकर न चलूँगा, ऐसा न हो कि मैं मार्ग में तुम्हारा अन्त कर डालूँ।”

Unto a land flowing with milk and honey: for I will not go up in the midst of thee; for thou art a stiffnecked people: lest I consume thee in the way.
