ฝ่ายพระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสกับโมเสสว่า “​เจ้​าลงไปเถิด ด้วยว่าชนชาติของเจ้าซึ่งเจ้าได้นำออกจากแผ่นดิ​นอ​ียิปต์​นั้น​ ​ได้​ทำความเสื่อมเสียมากแล้ว

¶ And the LORD said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves:
