నిర్గమకాండం 32:32

అయ్యో, వాళ్ళు చేసిన పాపాన్ని పరిహరించు, లేని పక్షంలో నువ్వు రాసిన నీ గ్రంథంలో నుండి నా పేరు తొలగించు” అని బతిమాలుకున్నాడు.

Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin—; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.
