പുറപ്പാടു 31:15

ആറു ദിവസം വേല ചെയ്യേണം; എന്നാൽ ഏഴാം ദിവസം സ്വസ്ഥമായുള്ള ശബ്ബത്തായി യഹോവെക്കു വിശുദ്ധം ആകുന്നു; ആരെങ്കിലും ശബ്ബത്ത് നാളിൽ വേല ചെയ്താൽ അവൻ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.

Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.
