નિર્ગમન 30:13

વસ્તીગણતરીમાં નોંધાયેલા બધા માણસોએ યહોવાહને અડધો શેકેલ (શેકેલનો માપ વીસ ગેરહ હોય છે) અર્પણ તરીકે આપવો.

This they shall give, every one that passeth among them that are numbered, half a shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary: (a shekel is twenty gerahs:) an half shekel shall be the offering of the LORD.
