నిర్గమకాండం 2:23

ఈ విధంగా చాలా రోజులు గడచిపోయిన తరువాత ఐగుప్తు రాజు చనిపోయాడు. ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలు ఇంకా బానిసత్వంలోనే ఉండి, నిట్టూర్పులు విడుస్తూ మొర పెడుతూ ఉన్నారు. తమ వెట్టిచాకిరీ మూలంగా వారు పెట్టిన మొరలు దేవుని సన్నిధికి చేరాయి.

¶ And it came to pass in process of time, that the king of Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto God by reason of the bondage.
