പിറ്റേ ദിവസവും അവൻ ചെന്നപ്പോൾ രണ്ടു എബ്രായ പുരുഷന്മാർ തമ്മിൽ ശണ്ഠയിടുന്നതു കണ്ടു, അന്യായം ചെയ്തവനോടു: നിന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരനെ അടിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

And when he went out the second day, behold, two men of the Hebrews strove together: and he said to him that did the wrong, Wherefore smitest thou thy fellow?
