Och de ska binda fast bröstskölden med dess ringar till efodens ringar med en blå snodd (flätad tråd) [från de färgade trådarna i 2 Mos 25:4], så att den ska vara på efodens skickligt vävda band, så att bröstskölden inte lossnar från efoden.

And they shall bind the breastplate by the rings thereof unto the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it may be above the curious girdle of the ephod, and that the breastplate be not loosed from the ephod.
