Aäron en zijn zonen zullen die dragen, wanneer zij komen naar de tent der samenkomst of wanneer zij naderen tot het altaar, om dienst te doen in het heiligdom, opdat zij geen ongerechtigheid op zich laden en sterven. Het is een altoosdurende inzetting voor hem en voor zijn nakomelingschap.
