નિર્ગમન 24:8

પછી મૂસાએ વાસણમાંથી રક્ત લઈને લોકો પર છાંટ્યું અને કહ્યું, “આ પુસ્તકમાં લખેલાં વચનો પ્રમાણે યહોવાહે તમારી સાથે જે કરાર કર્યો છે, તેને પાકો કરનાર આ રક્ત છે.”

And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.
