ദേശം ശൂന്യമാകാതെയും കാട്ടുമൃഗം നിനക്കു ബാധയായി പെരുകാതെയും ഇരിപ്പാൻ ഞാൻ അവരെ ഒരു സംവത്സരത്തിന്നകത്തു നിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ നിന്നു ഓടിച്ചുകളകയില്ല.

I will not drive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against thee.
