નિર્ગમન 23:15

આબીબ મહિનામાં બેખમીરી રોટલીનું પર્વ પાળવું. તે વખતે સાત દિવસ સુધી મારી આજ્ઞા મુજબ તમારે બેખમીરી રોટલી ખાવી. કારણ કે, એ માસમાં તમે મિસરમાંથી બહાર આવ્યા હતા અને કોઈએ ખાલી હાથે મારી પાસે આવવું નહિ.”

Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:)
