నిర్గమకాండం 22:14

ఒక వ్యక్తి తన పొరుగువాని దగ్గర ఏదైనా బదులు తీసుకుంటే, దాని యజమాని దాని దగ్గర లేనప్పుడు దానికి హాని కలిగినా, లేదా అది చనిపోయినా ఆ నష్టాన్ని తప్పకుండా పూరించాలి.

¶ And if a man borrow ought of his neighbour, and it be hurt, or die, the owner thereof being not with it, he shall surely make it good.
