யாத்திராகமம் 22:14

ஒருவன் பிறனிடம் எதையாவது இரவலாக வாங்கியிருந்தால், அதற்குரியவன் கூட இல்லாதபோது, அது காயப்பட்டாலும், செத்துப்போனாலும், அவன் அதற்கு ஈடுசெய்யவேண்டும்.

¶ And if a man borrow ought of his neighbour, and it be hurt, or die, the owner thereof being not with it, he shall surely make it good.
