નિર્ગમન 22:31

અને તમે લોકો મારા પવિત્ર લોક થાઓ; તમારે જંગલી પશુએ મારેલા કોઈ પશુનું માંસ ન ખાવું, તે કૂતરાંને સારુ નાખી દેવું.

¶ And ye shall be holy men unto me: neither shall ye eat any flesh that is torn of beasts in the field; ye shall cast it to the dogs.
