यदि चोर सेंध लगाते हुए पकड़ा जाए, और उस पर ऐसी मार पड़े कि वह मर जाए, तो उसके खून का दोष न लगे;
¶ If a thief be found breaking up, and be smitten that he die, there shall no blood be shed for him.
