నిర్గమకాండం 21:26

ఒకడు తన దాసుణ్ణి గానీ, దాసిని గానీ కొట్టి వాళ్ళ కన్ను పోయేలా చేస్తే ఆ కన్నుకు పరిహారంగా వాళ్ళను విడుదల చెయ్యాలి.

¶ And if a man smite the eye of his servant, or the eye of his maid, that it perish; he shall let him go free for his eye’s sake.
