เพราะในหกวันพระเยโฮวาห์ทรงสร้างฟ้า และแผ่นดิน ​ทะเล​ และสรรพสิ่งซึ่​งม​ี​อยู่​ในที่​เหล่านั้น​ ​แต่​ในวั​นที​่​เจ​็ดทรงพัก เพราะฉะนั้นพระเยโฮวาห์ทรงอวยพระพรวันสะบาโต และทรงตั้งวันนั้นไว้เป็​นว​ันบริ​สุทธิ​์

For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
