പുറപ്പാടു 20:24

എനിക്കു മണ്ണുകൊണ്ടു ഒരു യാഗപീഠം ഉണ്ടാക്കി അതിന്മേൽ നിന്റെ ഹോമയാഗങ്ങളെയും സമാധാനയാഗങ്ങളെയും നിന്റെ ആടുകളെയും കന്നുകാലികളെയും അർപ്പിക്കേണം. ഞാൻ എന്റെ നാമത്തിന്റെ സ്മരണ സ്ഥാപിക്കുന്ന ഏതു സ്ഥലത്തും ഞാൻ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു നിന്നെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കും.

¶ An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee.
