പുറപ്പാടു 20:11

ആറു ദിവസംകൊണ്ടു യഹോവ ആകാശവും ഭൂമിയും സമുദ്രവും അവയിലുള്ളതൊക്കെയും ഉണ്ടാക്കി, ഏഴാം ദിവസം സ്വസ്ഥമായിരുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവ ശബ്ബത്തുനാളിനെ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചു ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
