નિર્ગમન 20:25

જો તમે મારા માટે પથ્થરની વેદી બાંધો, તો ઘડેલા પથ્થરની નહિ પણ અસલ પથ્થરની બાંધશો. કારણ કે તમે જો તેના પર કોઈ પણ ઓજાર વાપરો તો તે અશુદ્ધ બની જાય.

And if thou wilt make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn stone: for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it.
