నిర్గమకాండం 1:12

ఐగుప్తీయులు ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలను అణగదొక్కేకొద్దీ వారు అంతకంతకూ విస్తరిస్తూ పోవడంతో వారు ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజల విషయం భయాందోళనలు పెంచుకున్నారు.

But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the children of Israel.
