யாத்திராகமம் 1:16

“நீங்கள் எபிரெய பெண்களுக்கு பிரசவம் பார்க்கும்போது, அவர்கள் மணையின்மேல் உட்கார்ந்திருக்கும்போது பார்த்து, ஆண்பிள்ளையாக இருந்தால் கொன்றுபோடுங்கள், பெண்பிள்ளையாக இருந்தால் உயிரோடு இருக்கட்டும்” என்றான்.

And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live.
